At Pacific Animal Foundation, we offer a range of life-saving and community-driven services focused on the care, protection, and advocacy of cats across British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest.
Our programs are designed to support both animals and the people who care for them—building a kinder world for cats, one rescue at a time.
Cat Rescue & Emergency Response
We respond to calls about injured, abandoned, or stray cats in urgent need of help. Working with veterinarians and trained volunteers, we provide immediate care and safe shelter for cats facing crisis situations.
Foster Care & Rehabilitation
Our foster network offers a home-like environment for rescued cats to recover, socialize, and regain trust. This individualized care is essential for preparing cats for permanent adoption and ensuring long-term success in their new homes.
Adoption Services
We match rescued cats with loving, responsible families. Every cat is vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and thoroughly assessed for health and behaviour before adoption. We support adopters with guidance, resources, and follow-up care.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program
To address cat overpopulation humanely, we run TNR programs for feral and free-roaming cats. Cats are safely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and then returned to their colonies or relocated to safe environments when appropriate.
Community Outreach & Education
We educate the public about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and how to help community cats. Our outreach includes workshops, school programs, online resources, and collaborations with local partners.
Support for Cat Guardians
We provide assistance to cat owners facing hardship, including access to low-cost spay/neuter clinics, behavioural advice, and guidance on rehoming when necessary. Our goal is to keep cats in loving homes whenever possible.
